Info Salons Group mirrors MENA’s double-digit event industry growth

According to The Gulf Today, the Middle East events market has been estimated to grow at near double-digit levels till 2020.
The 2016 annual performance of Dubai World Trade Centre had an impressive 11% year-on-year footfall increase attracting attendance from 185 countries with 51,711 exhibiting companies, of which nearly 70% were foreign exhibitors. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum announced that the business surpassed a significant milestone in visitation traffic hosting 3.03 million delegates and attendees to events at its venue.
As preparations for the Dubai 2020 World Expo boost investment and more oil production comes on stream, FocusEconomics panellists expect GDP to rise 2.5% in 2017 and 3.3% in 2018. And the World Economic Forum has named the country the most competitive economy in the Arab world.
